Tomatoes Tastes (Solanum lycopersicum) is a modern, top-quality variety from the breeding program Fred Hempel (Artisan Seeds), one of the most respected breeders of special, high-quality paradižniks. Taste was created as an improved bicolor line that combines exceptional aroma, stable growth and exceptional fertility.
The fruits are elongated, elegant, approximately long 7–10cm, with a beautiful two-tone shell: yellow base intertwined with red stripes and marbled patterns. They resemble the Striped Roman in appearance, but with better, more aromatic and more balanced taste. The meat is juicy, dense and sweet, with just enough acid to give a full, rich flavor profile.
The plant is indeterminate (needs support), medium-vigorous growth, known for its exceptional fertility – the clusters are literally full of fruit, which ripen evenly. Taste is among earlier bicolor varieties, as the first fruits usually ripen already about 65 days after transplanting.
It is a variety that is loved by both amateur and experienced gardeners, as it combines exceptional taste, high decorativeness and reliable production.
