Tomatoes Emerald is an excellent variety with fruits in green color and with a distinct sweet and aromatic taste. The fruits are medium to large (120-200 g), slightly flattened, with a smooth green skin, which turns into a warm green with a yellowish sheen. The meat is juicy, dense and extremely sweet, with fruity notes, making Smarald a great choice for salads, fresh consumption, bruschetta, as well as for gourmet plates, where it stands out with its color and aroma.
The plant has indeterminate growth (needs support), grows more than 2 m and forms abundant clusters of fruit throughout the season. It ripens medium early, approximately 70–75 days after transplanting. The variety is known for good heat tolerance, stable yield and strong shoots that reliably bear larger fruits.
