Tomatoes Roman Candle (Solanum lycopersicum) is attractive traditional variety, known for its long, elegant yellow fruits candle-shaped – hence the name. The fruits are usually 8–12cm long, cylindrical and slightly pointed, with a smooth, shiny skin. The flesh is dense with a pronounced sweet taste.
Due to its lower juice content, Roman Candle is an excellent choice for fresh consumption, drying, baking and dishes where we want the paradižnik to retain its shape. The variety is also visually very decorative and beautifully complements mixed plates of colorful paradižniks.
The plant is indeterminate (needs support) and forms a lush growth with long clusters of yellow fruits. It belongs to medium early to medium late variety and is very productive, especially in warm locations.
