Tomatoes Glacial Zebra (Solanum lycopersicum) is interesting and very attractive bicolor variety, created by crossing known varieties Green Zebra and Glacier. It combines the striped coloration of Green Zebra with the resistance and adaptability of Glacier, making it a very reliable variety for difficult conditions.
The fruits are medium-sized (approximately 120–250 g), slightly flattened and slightly ribbed. The skin is lime green with distinct dark green stripes, and later passes into warm, yellowish-green shades. The meat is juicy, fresh, with a delicate sweetness and pleasant acidity.
Glacial Zebra is indeterminate (needs support) and grows to around 1.8–2 m. It also tolerates very well colder and less stable weather, which is a characteristic it inherited from its parent Glacier. It matures mid-season, usually 70–75 days after transplanting, and offers a stable, reliable yield.
