Tomatoes Black Prince (Solanum lycopersicum) is one of the most appreciated classic dark varieties, known for its rich, sweet-smoky flavor and attractive colors, which ranges from dark red to chocolate brown, with greenish-olive shoulders. The fruits are medium-sized (100–150 g), slightly flattened, with soft, juicy flesh and few seeds.

The plant has indeterminate growth (needs support), usually grows 1.6–1.8m, and is known for very good resistance to colder conditions, so it is also suitable for areas with slightly shorter summers. It ripens medium early, approximately 70–75 days after transplanting, and gives a stable and reliable yield.

Black Prince originates from Siberia, where through many years of selection, they developed paradižnik, which perfectly tolerates temperature fluctuations and colder nights. Due to its resistance and taste, it has become one of the most widespread dark varieties in the world and a regular in the collection of lovers of traditional paradižniks.
