Tomatoes Angora Super Sweet , also known as “Velvet Red”, is one of the biggest special features among cherry paradižniki. The plant is immediately recognizable by its bluish-gray, velvety hairy leaves and fruits, which give it an almost decorative, fluffy appearance – a true botanical rarity.
The fruits are small (about 1 cm), round, bright red, with a slightly hairy surface and extremely sweet, fruity taste. It is precisely because of its aromatic nature that it is the variety of the year. 2023 received an award at the Diggers Tomato Taste Test, where she was selected for the most delicious paradižnik. The flesh is tender, very juicy, with a thin skin, making Angora Super Sweet the perfect paradižnik for immediate consumption straight from the garden.
The plant has indeterminate growth (needs support) and reaches approximately 1.6–1.8m, it can also be grown as a shrub, in this case we do not remove the side shoots, thus achieving even greater fertility. Through the whole season forms abundant clusters of small fruits. It ripens early to medium early, approximately 65–70 days after transplanting, and due to its attractive growth and high yield, it is considered one of the most popular special varieties among collectors.
