Dragon Fruit – American Beauty

Pitaya American Beauty (Hylocereus guatemalensis) is one of the most popular varieties of sweet pitaya with a characteristic red-pink peel and deep purple-red flesh. It originates from Central America, where it was naturally selected for its excellent resistance, rapid growth and exceptional fruit quality.

The plant forms strong, three-part shoots, which are almost thornless. It is known for rapid growth, early entry into fruiting and good self-fertility — often forms fruits even without the presence of another variety.
