Chili Written by Bass Harari (Capsicum annuum) is a special East African variety that stands out for its small, erect fruits of bright yellow color. The plant is medium tall, bushy and very productive, making it an excellent choice for balconies, pots or the garden.
The fruits measure approximately 1.5 × 2 cm and have a pleasant, aromatic taste with mild to medium heat, which does not dominate the dish, but complements it nicely. Due to its thin walls and good aroma, the fruits are excellent for drying, grinding into powder, making salsas, adding to soups, fish dishes and vegetable sauces.
Pis Bas Harari is a traditional variety that is often used as a everyday kitchen chili – versatile, reliable and delicious.
