Chili Charapita Peach (Capsicum chinense) is a beautiful peach-colored version of the famous Peruvian Charapita – one of the most valuable and aromatic small chilies in the world. The fruits are extremely small, round like a pea, with a delicate peach hue that sets them apart from the classic yellow Charapita.
This variety is famous for its intense fruity-citrus flavor, often described as a combination of lemon, mango and tropical flowers. Despite their size, the fruits have a surprisingly lively medium roast, which quickly comes alive, but just as quickly calms down.
Due to its exceptional aroma, Charapita Peach is perfect for salsas, ceviche, tropical sauces, seafood, drying and fermentation. Due to its beauty and abundant fertility, it is also highly valued as an ornamental plant.
