Chilli - Candy Cane

Candy Cane chili is a variety with very low spiciness, raised primarily for distinctly striped fruits, which are decorative already during growth. The plant is medium lush and evenly covered with fruit suitable for gradual harvesting.

The fruits are to elongate, approximately long 10–15 cm, with characteristic creamy white and green stripes, which turn brown when fully ripe red. The skin is smooth and the flesh is medium thick and juicy.

The taste is gentle, slightly sweet, and the pungency is very low, usually between 0–500 SHU, individual fruits may be completely free of bitterness. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, salads, pickling, stuffing and as a colorful addition to dishes where a look without a pronounced sharpness is desired.
