Bučka - Tondo di Piacenza

Zucchini Piacenza Roundabout (Cucurbita pepo) is a traditional Italian variety from the Emilia-Romagna region, known for its round, evenly shaped fruits dark green in color with delicate light spots. The fruits are compact (8–12 cm), with soft, light and very tender meat that retains an excellent texture when cooked. They are ideal for stuffing, baking, grilling, stewing, and they are also great sliced for salads or fried in slices.

The plant has bushy, medium-vigorous growth, usually reaches 60–80 cm in width, making it suitable for smaller gardens. Tondo di Piacenza is an early variety that starts bearing fruit quickly and abundantly, with the fruits being picked young - that's when they are most delicious, juicy and free of hard seeds.
