Basilica Superb (Ocimum basilicum) is classic Genoa Basilica, appreciated for its large, light green, delicate leaves and extremely aromatic, sweet smell, reminiscent of traditional Italian cuisine, no peppermint flavor. The flavor is rich, full-bodied and distinctly “basilic,” making Superbo a great choice for pesto, pasta, salads, bruschetta, as well as for adding to dishes just before serving.
The plant forms strong, lush bush, usually tall 30–45 cm, with an excellent ratio between large leaves and good branching.
