Basilica – Mammoth

Basilica Mammoth is a spectacular variety with extremely large, slightly ruffled-wavy, shiny green leaves, which resemble lettuce leaves. The leaves can be up to about 10 cm and more in size, meaning that the variety offers an extraordinary amount of leaves to harvest and use. The taste is classically basilic, but slightly more intense than with conventional green varieties, making it great for fresh dishes, pesto, or as a visually appealing addition. The plant develops medium lush growth, usually reaches a height of approximately 45-60 cm.
