Basilica – Italian Classico

Basilica Italian Classic is a traditional Italian variety with large, light green, slightly shiny leaves and characteristic strong aroma. It has classic taste, which goes perfectly with Italian dishes such as pesto, paradižnikove sauces, pasta and salads. The leaves are smooth and medium-sized, and the plant forms compact, lush shrubs height approximately 40–60 cm, which allows for regular harvesting of fresh leaves throughout the season.

Italian Classico basil grows best on warm, sunny locations in well-drained soil. Regularly picking the tops will encourage even stronger growth and longer fruiting. It is an excellent choice for garden, patio or larger pot, as it combines rich flavor, aroma and high decorative value.
