The fruits are cylindrical, slightly curved, approximately long 25–40cm, with thin skin and soft, light-colored flesh, which remains juicy even when cooked. Young zucchini is excellent for grilling, stewing, frying or making sauces and pasta.
The plant has lush, bushy to semi-climbing growth, with abundant and long-lasting fruit. The variety is medium early, and the fruits can be harvested approximately 55–65 days after sowing. It grows well on sunny, warm locations and in fertile, well-drained soil. Lungo Bianco di Sicilia is the real one a classic among Mediterranean zucchini, known for its delicate taste, high quality and reliable yield.
