It is an exceptional mutation from the variety <em data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"566\">Candlelight Red<\/em>, in which due to <strong data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"606\">FILIFORM genes<\/strong> develop extremely narrow, almost thread-like leaves, thin flower petals and very special, tiny fruits. It is this mutation that makes it completely unique \u2013 the plant has no culinary value, but is valued exclusively as <strong data-start=\"818\" data-end=\"879\">botanical specialty and horticultural collector&#039;s item<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"1227\">The fruits are small, irregular and often <strong data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"961\">parthenocarpic<\/strong> (without seeds). Only about <strong data-start=\"989\" data-end=\"1005\">1 fruit out of 10<\/strong> contains some seeds, which further confirms <strong data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1076\">the extreme rarity of this variety<\/strong>. The burning sensation is unpredictable \u2014 from imperceptible to <strong data-start=\"1122\" data-end=\"1131\">mild<\/strong>, approximately around 10,000 SHU, but this property is insignificant, as the variety is not intended for consumption.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1577\">The plant is very compact, adult specimens measure only <strong data-start=\"1284\" data-end=\"1305\">10\u201320 cm in height<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1309\" data-end=\"1330\">10\u201315 cm wide<\/strong>, with a characteristic growth from the ground. The threadlike leaves are about 5 cm long, but only a few millimeters wide, giving the plant a complete \u201cmutant\u201d appearance. The flowers are white, typical of annuum species, but with an exceptionally <strong data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1576\">thin, elongated petals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"1938\">One of the biggest advantages of Mutant Candlelight Caramel is its exceptional <strong data-start=\"1647\" data-end=\"1660\">resistance<\/strong> \u2014 mutant plants tolerate well <strong data-start=\"1697\" data-end=\"1738\">heat, drought and even cold near 0 \u00b0C<\/strong>. For this reason, some believe that it has its origins in <strong data-start=\"1784\" data-end=\"1815\">desert areas of the Maghreb<\/strong>.
