The plant has <strong data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"447\">short but prominent spine. <\/strong>\u00a0With age, the plant develops <strong data-start=\"513\" data-end=\"562\">increasingly light, almost white waxy coating<\/strong>, which improves resistance to strong sunlight and high temperatures.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"1210\">The fruits are <strong data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"924\">oval, bright pink-red<\/strong>, with distinct green scales. The flesh is <strong data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"980\">dark red<\/strong>, juicy and sweet, with a delicate berry aroma.
