The plant grows <strong data-start=\"210\" data-end=\"242\" data-is-only-node=\"\">upright, medium lush <\/strong>with characteristic <strong data-start=\"256\" data-end=\"281\">white-yellow flowers<\/strong>, from which they develop <strong data-start=\"307\" data-end=\"355\">juicy, slightly ribbed fruits 5\u20139 cm long<\/strong>. For more <strong data-start=\"365\" data-end=\"383\">compact growth<\/strong> can the top of the plant simply <strong data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"425\">cut off<\/strong>, thereby encouraging the development of many <strong data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"486\">side shoots<\/strong> and thus a higher yield.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"515\" data-end=\"1051\">Fruits can <strong data-start=\"529\" data-end=\"560\">we harvest until the first frost<\/strong>, when they are still young and soft. Okra offers an extremely wide range of uses \u2013 <strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"677\">boiled, baked, fried, stewed or pickled<\/strong>, it is also suitable for <strong data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"725\">freezing and drying<\/strong>. It is excellent as <strong data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"790\">thickener for soups, broths, sauces and stews<\/strong>, as it adds a pleasantly thick texture and rich flavor to dishes. Young <strong data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"861\">leaves<\/strong> can be used as <strong data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"907\">spinach or in salads<\/strong>, and from the fruits and leaves we prepare <strong data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"961\">medicinal teas<\/strong>.
