The variety originates from the area <strong data-start=\"472\" data-end=\"500\">Belmonte in southern Italy<\/strong>, where it has been cultivated for decades and is valued as one of <strong data-start=\"557\" data-end=\"591\">the most delicious varieties paradi\u017enika<\/strong> for fresh consumption.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"1150\">The plant is <strong data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"647\">lush, tall growth<\/strong>, reaches <strong data-start=\"656\" data-end=\"670\">up to 2 meters<\/strong>, therefore it needs <strong data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"696\">support<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"736\">regular removal of leaf blades<\/strong>. The fruits are <strong data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"771\">large (300\u2013600 g)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"773\" data-end=\"791\">heart-shaped<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"815\">bright red color<\/strong> and with <strong data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"848\">thick, fleshy core<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"881\">minimum amount of seeds<\/strong>.
