Plant:
It is about indeterminate variety, which develops strong and lush growth and request reliable support. It ripens late, often only in autumn months, but because of high resistance and durability persists long into the season.

Fruits:
The fruits are strongly ribbed, often deeply wrinkled, with full, sweet taste and fleshy texture. They contain very few seeds, which means that the seed material is rarely available, and therefore especially valuable for lovers of special varieties.

Usage:
Due to its size and sweet taste, Pitanga is ideal for fresh eating, slicing, sandwiches or making sauces. Due to its decorative shape, it also makes a beautiful addition to a plate.
