Chili MAMP Purple Berrygum F7 (Capsicum chinense) is a rare and visually stunning advanced selection from the “bubblegum” line, recognizable by its characteristic fruit-to-stem color transition and pronounced purple pigmentation. It is a cross that impresses with its exotic appearance, color transitions and intense aroma of modern chinense varieties.

The fruits are initially deep purple, almost black, then turn into pink, peach and reddish tones, often with a nice visible “bubblegum bleed” effect. The shape is slightly humpbacked, compact and typically chinense. The plant itself often develops darker, purple-tinged foliage, which further emphasizes the decorativeness.

The taste brings fruity-berry notes, a very pleasant aromatic profile accompanied by medium to high heat, with a long and persistent burn.

As a label F7 means, variety not yet completely stable, so there may be minor variations in the offspring shape, color and degree of bleed effect — which is part of its charm and the reason it is particularly attractive to collectors and lovers of exotic hybrids.
