Tomatoes Sangria Plum (Solanum lycopersicum) is an extremely productive plum variety, valued for its reliability, excellent taste and exceptional resistance even in less favorable growing conditions. The fruits are small to medium-sized, the size of a plum, and elongated with a distinct, slightly cute transition towards the tip, which gives the fruits a recognizable appearance.
They grow in long, evenly coated clusters, which allows for a very rich harvest. The peel is red, smooth, and the interior firm, juicy, with nicely arranged seed cavities – a feature that is clearly visible in the photo. The flesh has excellent culinary properties: sweet taste with a pleasant fresh acidity.
The Plum Sangria is exceptional resistant to cracking, which is a common problem with plum varieties, so it is also excellent in rainy summers. The plant is indeterminate (needs support), vital and lush growth, ripening early – approximately 70 days from transplanting, and despite the bad weather very reliable and abundant fruiting.
It is a variety that stands out for its combination of resistance, exceptional yield, and excellent taste.
