Tomatoes Maxwell's Big Italian (Solanum lycopersicum) is traditional Italian variety of large fleshy paradižnika, known for extremely large, fleshy fruits and rich, classic taste. The fruits are flat round, often weigh 300–600g, with thick meat, a small proportion of seeds and intense red color. The taste is full, sweet and slightly sour, typical of old Italian varieties, making it ideal for salads, sauces, juices or sandwiches.
The plant has indeterminant (unlimited) growth and reaches up to 2 m high, therefore it needs support and regular removal of side shoots. It is medium late variety, as the fruits ripen approximately 80–85 days after transplanting. Maxwell's Big Italian tomatoes are known for reliable yield, excellent fruit quality and resistance to cracking.
