Wild paradižnik – Solanum pimpinellifolium
Wild paradižnik, also known as spoon paradižnik or currant tomato, is direct relative of modern cultivated paradižniks, with which it shares many characteristics. It still grows wild in nature, especially in South America, where it originated – Peru and Ecuador – where it thrives in a variety of environments, from coasts to mountainous areas.

It is about a smaller, bushy and very resistant plant, which grows as a perennial in its natural environment. In our country it is usually grown as an annual. Due to its vitality and disease resistance It bears abundantly until late autumn.
Leaves:
They resemble the leaves of the common paradižnika, but are smaller and more gentle, with a fine feathery shape.
Fruits:
Exceptional small yellow fruits, about the size of a pea or currant, impress with very sweet, intense taste. They are suitable for snacks, salads, sauces or as a decoration. Children love them.
