Chili “Bellingrath Gardens” is rare ornamental variety with a unique appearance and rich color image, named after famous Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile, Alabama (USA).
Plants are distinguished by dark green leaves with a purple-black tint, purple stems and beautiful white flowers with a slight purple tips. The fruits grow upright, which further emphasizes their decorative appearance.
During ripening, the fruits change color through the right color spectacle – from purple-green, in dark purple, then orange, red with purple-orange undertones, to the final intensely red in color.
Quite vigorous growth and high fruit yield with excellent taste and moderate spiciness to 50,000 SHU. It is suitable for both ornamental plantings as for culinary – especially where you want to add color and a slightly spicy touch.
