Substrate UG 29 A F1 (Cucurbita maxima × Cucurbita moschata) is a high-quality professional hybrid rootstock for grafting all types of pumpkins – pumpkins, zucchini, cucumbers, watermelons and melons. It is developed for extremely strong root system, which provides more vigorous growth, greater resistance to stress and significantly higher yield in grafted varieties.
The base offers excellent resistance to soil diseases, such as Fusarium wilt, soil rot, stress due to overheated floors, droughts and humidity fluctuations. Plants grafted onto UG 29 A F1 develop better vitality, stronger stem, richer leaf mass and a longer productive season. Due to its high resistance and stability, the substrate is particularly suitable for intensive cultivation, tunnel and greenhouse cultivation, as well as for more demanding garden conditions.
It is also distinguished by excellent vaccination reception, which makes work easier for both professional growers and gardeners.
