Tomatoes Roughwood Golden Plum is rare, old variety. The fruits are small to medium-sized (20–30 g), elongated-plum-shaped, with golden yellow to orange peel, which shimmer in the sun. The meat is thick, sweet and richly aromatic, with balanced acidity, making the variety excellent for fresh use, sauces or drying.
The plant has indeterminant growth, reaches approximately 1.8–2 m high, and forms numerous clusters of fruit, which ripen evenly. The ripening takes approximately 75–80 days from transplanting, therefore it belongs to medium early varieties. The variety originates from the collection Roughwood Seed Collection (USA) and is appreciated for exceptional resistance, fertility and stable fruit quality.
